The Ceremony

After more than five years of dating, we will be married in an outdoor ceremony in the Alice Ransom Dreyfus Memorial Garden, located behind the Newark Museum. The garden is home to several sculptures, as well as the Old Stone Schoolhouse, built in 1784. The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour featuring a live jazz quartet.

The Reception

Our reception will take place inside the museum in Engelhard Court. Before dinner, our guests may tour the John Ballantine House, a National Historic Landmark built in 1885. The mansion is attached to the Museum and is a beautifully restored Victorian home that once belonged to the Ballantine Beer Brewing family.
